A Houston man is accused of sexually molesting and impregnating an 11-year-old girl who he allegedly raped almost daily, ABC Houston reports.
Deandre Devon Davis-Williams, 21, would wait for the girl’s mother to leave for work before going over to the neighboring apartment and forcing himself on the girl.
“It was about a year that this abuse was occurring continuously, very often,” District Attorney Sara Marie Kinney said. She added that the little girl is about to give birth.
The child told police Davis-Williams entered her apartment’s back door almost every day when no one was home. She told police he ignored her pleas to stop.
The girl’s mother, who is not being named by ABC Houston to protect the child’s identity, wasn’t aware that her daughter was 7 months pregnant until the school told her. That was 2 months ago.
The mother confronted Davis-Williams who reportedly sent the child a text message asking why she told on him and telling her he was going to kill himself.
“This case will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Kinney said.
Davis-Williams is charged with continuous sexual assault of a child. He is being held on $50,000 bond.
