Acquitted child murderer George Zimmerman is being questioned by police after allegedly threatening his wife and former father-in-law with a gun. Lake Mary police spokesman Zach Hudson said police are “trying to determine what exactly happened,” ClickOrlando.com reports.
George Zimmerman’s estranged wife, Shellie, called police saying he threatened her and her father with a gun.
Last week, Shellie announced she was filing for divorce from Zimmerman. Shellie is seeking half of George’s assets and custody of their 2 dogs. George was recently acquitted of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in a Sanford, Florida gate community in February 2012.
CNN legal analyst Mark O’Mara, who represented George Zimmerman in his murder trial, told ClickOrlando he had no comment at this time.
Since his acquittal, Zimmerman has been pulled over twice for speeding by police in texas and Florida.
Once a criminal, always a criminal.
