The Louisville Cardinals basketball player who suffered a gruesome leg injury during the 2013 NCAA Tournament is dunking again.
Ware is seen practicing with his team in a video that was uploaded to YouTube. The tibia in Ware’s right lower leg snapped in half leaving the bone protruding from his skin during the nationally televised Midwest Regional final against Duke on March 31.
The injury made Ware an instant celebrity. He was even invited to attend a White House dinner with the Obamas.
Ware underwent surgery to insert a metal rod in his shattered bone, effectively making his leg stronger than it was before the injury.
In the video, Ware is seen smiling and dunking the basketball during team practice.
