Actress Jada Pinkett-Smith didn’t go into her marriage with blinders on. She knows that human nature is transient and monogamy goes against nature. Still, she and husband Will Smith are among the few Hollywood couples whose marriages have endured.
Responding to Howard Stern’s direct question about rumors of an open marriage (with both sexes),
Jada said:
“You gotta trust who you’re with, and at the end of the day, I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher. I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man. I trust that the man that Will is is a man of integrity. HE’s got all the freedom in the world, and as long as Will can look at himself in the mirror and be OK, I’m good.”
Jada said she and Will are honest about who they have crushes on, and she doesn’t mind if he looks at beautiful women.
“If your man can’t really see another woman’s beauty how the hell is he going to see yours?” she said.
