The hacker collective known as Anonymous took down Donald Trump’s website today in retaliation for Trump’s “racism and hatred.”

Last week, Trump suggested all Muslims be banned from visiting the United States until the government figures out how to improve the vetting process to keep terrorists out.

Trumptowerny.com went offline earlier today. But since Trump’s website is hosted on Cloudflare.com, a backup cached site is shown to visitors. Cloudflare uses hundreds of servers in strategic locations around the country to mitigate denial of service attacks such as the one that crashed Mr. Trump’s website.

Earlier this week, Anonymous posted a Youtube video warning The Donald, “Donald Trump think twice before you speak anything. You have been warned Mr. Donald Trump.”
