Adam 'Pacman' Jones

The Cincinnati Bengals nearly won a thrilling come-from-behind victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a NFC wild card game on Sunday. The Bengals who were down 15-0 in the 3rd quarter scored 16 straight points to take a 16-15 lead with a minute and a half left on the clock.

Then, as fate would have it, the Bengals’ luck ran out. Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was flagged for delivering a vicious hit on Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown in the 4th quarter, giving the Steelers 15 precious yards on the play.

If that wasn’t bad enough, Bengals’ defensive back Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones was assessed an unsportsmanlike penalty, giving the Steelers another 15 yards. The Steelers scored an easy go-ahead field goal to win the game 18-16 and advance to face the Denver Broncos in the AFC divisional round of the NFL playoffs next Sunday.

After the game, an angry Jones took to Twitter.com to air his grievance against the referees.

He was particularly upset that the refs flagged him for unsportsmanlike conduct after Steelers coach Joey Porter ran out onto the field.

“F***ing ref did a horrible f***ing job!” he ranted. “You got f***ing Joey Porter in the middle of the f***ing field talking sh*t to everybody and then when somebody say something to him… he don’t even supposed to be on the f***ing field!”

Jones quickly deleted the video, but not before his followers downloaded it for posterity.
