1 and 1/2 cup butter- softened
3 cups white sugar
5 eggs- room temperature
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups milk
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream sugar and butter. Continue to cream and add eggs 1 at a time.
3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
4. Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture by alternating with milk.
5. Once mixture is smooth, add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
6. Place in greased and floured bundt pan, and bake for 45-60 minutes. Insert a toothpick or small knife into center to make sure it comes out clean.
