Singer and reality TV star Christina Milian came clean about that Instagram video showing her 5-year-old daughter, Violet, playing with makeup.
For some odd reason, a lot of people on social media believed the 5-year-old applied her own contouring makeup — a task that requires great skill and training.
In an interview with Hiphollywood.com Milian opened up about the prank she and her daughter played on a gullible public.
“It was actually a joke, my sister and I did her makeup. Everyone thinks my daughter did it,” the mother-of-one told Hiphollywood.com exclusively.
“We had seen a couple of little kids do the same thing before. My sister, as kids, we’ve always been notorious for like ‘lets film it, lets do this.’ We literally were joking about it. It took 30 minutes … She doesn’t care to put on makeup guys. It was all in fun.”
It should have been obvious to everyone that a 5-year-old couldn’t apply makeup so expertly. This helps explain why there are so many more followers on social media than leaders.
