Outspoken rapper Lord Jamar says singer Ciara Harris‘ lawsuit against her baby daddy, rapper Future Hendrix, is “more destruction of the black family.”
Jamar said Ciara and Future should come together to raise their son.
He said the welfare system promotes single mothers in the black community. But he also notes that single mothers raising black boys alone contributes to the problem.
This an important topic. Over 80% of black homes today are headed by single mothers. That’s a startling statistic.
“We’re seeing the ramifications of all these single mothers now, with all these young boys … running around… killing each other based on emotion,” said Jamar. “Who is the person they looked up to: an emotional creature, which is a woman,” he said.
He added: “Not saying that emotional is bad, but that’s more of the woman’s makeup is to be emotional, where the man is more rational.”
Jamar said young men need a “frame of reference” to see how men respond in certain situations. “All he sees is his moms, when something happens, she gets emotional and starts screaming.”
He also spoke on the medical establishment placing emphasis on “gender identity” and “gender fluidity” among children as young as 2.
Jamar’s comments are sure to spark debate on social media. But he’s right. Children should be raised by 2 parents; preferably an emotionally balanced male and female.
