Rapper Drake might be banned from sitting court side at NBA games if he keeps this up. The 29-year-old Toronto rapper nearly influenced the outcome of the game between his beloved Toronto Raptors and the Chicago Bulls on Monday.
Drake, who is the Raptors’ official mascot… I’m kidding, he is the official team ambassador — a title created just for him — cost the Bulls a 5-second violation when he started trash talking Justin Holiday who was trying to inbound the ball with 25.8 seconds left in the 4th quarter.
The 5-second violation gave the ball to the Raptors who were down by 3 points. The Raptors could have tied the score to send the game into overtime, but, unfortunately, they couldn’t take advantage of Drake’s gift. The Raptors lost to the Bulls 109-107.
