I remember visiting the mansion of Scrapp Deleon and his mother Karen “KK” King many years ago when Scrapp and his brother Sas were part of the kiddie group Da Razkalz Cru with their cousin, Dolla, who was shot to death in a gang-related shootout in California.
Scrapp’s name back then was Li’l Scrappy, and he was served with legal papers by local rapper Scrappy, who was also known by the stage name Li’l Scrappy.
Li’l Scrappy eventually settled on the stage name Scrapp Deleon. But the group’s recording career never took off.
Scrapp, whose real name is Will Cortez Robinson, is currently serving time on a trafficking marijuana conviction in Taliaferro County, Georgia, in January.
Back in 2012, Scrapp, Sas and their mother KK were arrested after they allegedly beat her then boyfriend Lyndon Smith half to death and stuffing him in the trunk of their car.
The car was stopped after it crossed state lines into Alabama. But the charges were later dropped due to lack of evidence.
Coincidentally, Mr. Smith spoke out on Facebook.com after Scrapp, Sas and KK made their debut on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
