Ed Henry, Fox News Channel’s Chief White House correspondent, is taking time off from covering President Obama after an In Touch Weekly report exposed his cheating ways. The married news journalist had a 10-month affair with a Las Vegas hostess named Natalia Lima, according to In Touch magazine.
Lima provided the magazine with graphic text messages and other intimate details to support her allegations after Henry ended their affair.
Mediaite — In Touch‘s story reveals text messages they say were exchanged between Henry and Lima, and the issue came out on newsstands today. According to In Touch, Lima said, “Whenever [Henry] was in town, we would pretty much just have sex. He has a really high sex drive.” She goes on to say that she met the veteran newscaster through social media, and that they connected during his cross-country travels covering the 2016 Presidential race beginning in the Spring of last year.
Henry and NPR’s deputy Washington editor Shirley Hung have been married for 6 years.
In a statement provided to Mediaite, a Fox News spokesperson said, “We recently became aware of Ed’s personal issues and he’s taking some time off to work things out.”
