Songbird Ciara and rapper Future were in a California courtroom yesterday for a temporary child custody hearing. Reports that Future won joint custody of their 2-year-old son are incorrect.
A judge granted Wilburn twice a month visitation with their son, Future Zahir Wilburn. The order is temporary because a California judge does not have jurisdiction outside of California. This means Future has the same visitation with his son that he had before: twice a month.
According to a source, Ciara’s camp is upset that Wilburn continues to disparage Ciara in public on social media.
The bitter custody battle was played out on social media — mainly by Future, whose real name is Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, 32.
The next custody case is scheduled here in Georgia, where a judge will decide whether Future gets joint custody or supervised visitation with his son.
