Washington DC sanitation workers have their work cut out for them.

The so-called “nasty women march” on Washington DC left the nation’s capital buried under a mountain of garbage. “Why didn’t they take their trash with them?,” grumbled one sanitation worker on social media.

“Crowd scientists” overestimated the size of Saturday’s demonstrations to be three times the size of Trump’s inauguration on Friday. But threats of violence and disruptions at the inauguration caused many to stay away out of fear of losing their lives.

It will take days to clean up the mounds of trash left behind by an estimated 450,000 mostly female marchers in Washington DC on Saturday. Another 1.5 million Trump haters demonstrated in cities across the U.S. and around the world.

What the marchers hoped to achieve still isn’t clear. Donald Trump has been President for all of 2 days. Why didn’t these women protest for equality over the last 8 years when the other guy was president?

What is clear is that the cost to clean up the mess will be a burden on Washington DC taxpayers for years to come.
