A middle school student was attacked on a school bus for wearing a red ball cap with Donald Trump’s campaign promise to “Make America Great Again”.
Christina Cortina uploaded video on Instagram.com, showing three students attacking her 12-year-old son, Gavin, on a Parkway school bus.
The video shows Gavin being verbally assaulted by several students. Gavin is heard telling the students that President Trump is going to build a wall to keep illegal immigrants out.
Seconds later he is attacked by an older boy, but Gavin defended himself and bloodied the boy’s lip. “He hit me first,” Gavin is heard saying.
Gavin was later suspended from school for punching the student — who hit him first. Gavin, who is Hispanic, was attacked for simply exercising his free speech.
“As a parent it’s so upsetting,” said Gavin’s mother, Christina Cortina. “I feel like my son was made an example of, it was a tricky situation, it was politically charged”.
After reviewing video of the incident, a Parkway District spokesperson said the other students were also suspended.
The spokesman said school district officials plan to sit down with all three students to discuss the incident and reach a “peaceful understanding”.
Unfortunately, liberal snowflakes don’t want peace or understanding. They just want to have their way.
