Karrueche Tran has obtained a restraining order against troubled singer Chris Brown.
The Los Angeles business woman told a judge she feared for her life after hearing reports that her ex-boyfriend was out to kill her.
Tran said in a statement Brown “told a few people that he was going to kill me.” She added that Brown allegedly stated if he could not have her, no one else would.
In court documents, Karrueche stated she feared Brown was going to “take me out” and “threatened to shoot me.”
She also claimed she broke up with Brown in 2014 after he “punched me in my stomach twice,” and “pushed me down the stairs” during a series of violent incidents.
Karrueche has reason to fear for her life. Brown is no stranger to domestic violence. The 27-year-old singer served time in jail for beating ex-girlfriend Robyn Rihanna Fenty to a bloody pulp in 2009.
He recently took to his Instagram page to warn someone that he was stalking her and intentionally making her miserable. He later deleted the post.
