Yesterday, I told you that former NY Yankee superstar Alex Rodriguez and singer/actress Jennifer Lopez were dating.
That information was supplied to the media by the 47-year-old singer’s publicist, who revealed the couple had only dated for 3 weeks.
The odd announcement contained a hint of desperation.
Oddly enough, the news came after Lopez ‘liked’ several of Rodriguez’s Instagram photos, particularly photos of the 41-year-old slugger with his adorable daughters, Natasha, 12, and Ella, 8.
People magazine noted that Rodriguez did not follow Lopez back on Instagram.com.
And Radaronline.com quoted an unnamed source who claimed Lopez is using Rodriguez to stay relevant to a younger fan base. The mother-of-2 was also linked to chronically single Canadian rapper Drake.

Then on Thursday — the day after the surprise announcement, Rodriguez posted an Instagram photo of himself and his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, 44, at their daughter Ella’s school.
He captioned the pic: “Parents-Teacher Day at Ella’s school”.
Some observers believe Rodriguez is sending a message to Lopez by posting a photo of his ex-wife on his Instagram page.
