North Carolina’s controversial HB2 bill has been repealed in the House and the Senate. Now the HB2 repeal will land on the governor’s desk for his signature.
Even though the bill offers a compromise of sorts, the gays and transgenders are still outraged over what they call the #FakeHB2Repeal.
“This #HB2Repeal is a joke. They’re still blocking local governments from passing non-discrimination ordinances to protect LGBTQ folks,” tweeted transsexual Raquel Willis.
Willis and others who can’t wait to pile into the women’s restrooms in North Carolina are angry that the language in the bill still prohibits municipalities from preventing biological men from invading women’s restrooms in North Carolina.
Willis, who is not a biological woman, tweeted: “I’m celebrating those who fight day in and day out to have every ounce of their womanhood respected.”
It’s interesting that he and others don’t respect biological women’s rights to safety and privacy in restrooms.
The #HB2Repeal is really no repeal at all, and LGBT groups are not having it. https://t.co/0iDIPZgMs1

Cheering #HB2Repeal: like saying Prince Edward County ended school segregation by closing pub. schools in 1959. Avoidance =/= civil rights.
