Meek Mill

Two airport security employees who were fired for scrapping with rapper Meek Mill are speaking out.

Mill, whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, was charged with assault following the incident at the St. Louis International Airport on Wednesday.

The fight occurred after the two employees asked Williams to take a smartphone photo. The rapper refused, and a verbal altercation ensued.

One of the men, Justin Card, told gossip tabloid TMZ.com that he asked the rapper to take a photo, but Williams declined.

Card admitted “throwing shade” at Williams after being rejected. Card said he knuckled up when he saw the rapper coming for him. His cousin, De’Angelo Webb, who also worked at the airport, jumped in to defend him.

The police listened to both sides and gave each man a summons to appear in court in lieu of arresting them.

Card and Webb were rightfully fired by their employer for fighting on the job. Now they want people to feel sorry for them.
