This video of a courageous black man interrupting a street fight between 2 boys is heartwarming and encouraging. Our community needs more black men like him.
The man stepped up to stop a fight between two teens who may have been seriously hurt. The two boys don’t have conflict resolution skills. So they settle their disagreements by fighting in the street.
The man pointed out correctly that the “cowards” recording the action on their cell phones were not their friends. The kids were only interested in uploading content to their social media pages.
“Look around. They’re laughing at you,” he told the boys.
This is what our young people been reduced to. The lack of empathy or concern for the welfare of others is shocking. These are the people who will one day care for you in your old age.
