New England Patriots tight end Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski drew laughter from the normally uptight journalists in the White House’s press room when he interrupted Sean Spicer’s daily news briefing.
Spicer was responding to grueling questions from the press corps when Gronkowski interrupted the press briefing.
“Hey, Sean, you need some help?” Gronkowski said as he peeked in the door to the White House briefing room.
“Uh… I think I got it, but thank you,” said a surprised Spicer.
“That was cool. How do you follow that?” Spicer laughed.
The overwhelmingly leftwing mainstream news media is notoriously negative toward President Trump and routinely jab Spicer with questions intended to trip him up.
The New England Patriots are at the White House today to meet with Trump and to celebrate winning the 2016-17 Super Bowl.
A few players chose not to travel with the team to Washington D.C.
