’80s R&B group After 7 returns with their latest single “Too Late” off their album Timeless, Featuring David Edmonds & Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. After 7 original members Melvin and Kevon Edmonds are Kenny’s brothers. David is a nephew of Melvin, Kevon and Kenny.
Founded in 1987, After 7 is best known for their ballads “Ready Or Not”, “Heat of the Moment”, and “‘Til You Do Me Right”.
The After 7 guys are a little too long in the tooth to surround themselves with 20-something LSLH video models. That formula worked to their advantage in the 1980s and mid ’90s, but not so much today.
