President Trump’s historic election is behind many Hollywood divorces and lost friendships. Now comes the news that Trump supporter Chris Pratt and his wife are divorcing.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” star and his wife of 8 years, Anna Faris, have called it quits. The couple has one son, Jack Pratt, 4.

The couple made the announcement on their Facebook page on Sunday.

“We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much, and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward,” the message read in part.

The news comes 4 months after Pratt showed public support for President Trump, who is enemy #1 in Hollywood.

Pratt immediately became a target for radical leftists who hate America.

The actor told Men’s Fitness magazine that Hollywood only makes movies to appease liberals.

“The voice of the average, blue-collar American isn’t necessarily represented in Hollywood,” he said.

Hard-working blue collar voters swept Trump to victory during the presidential elections in 2016.

Pratt’s parents were blue collar workers so he relates to the working class.

“I don’t see personal stories that necessarily resonate with me, because they’re not my stories,” Pratt said regarding Hollywood movies.

Conservative bloggers praised Pratt for being the rare Hollywood actor brave enough to take a stand against the liberals agenda.

Pratt faced backlash on Twitter.com after his comments were made public.
