Colin Kaepernick is siding with ESPN sports analyst Jamele Hill, left, who was scolded by ESPN for calling President Trump a “white supremacist” on Twitter.com.
On Monday, Sept. 11, Hill tweeted, “Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists.”
ESPN distanced itself from SportsCenter anchor Jamele Hill who acknowledged she was wrong for the tweets, but she did not delete the tweets from her Twitter feed.
The sports network then issued a statement saying, “We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate.”
On Tuesday, Kaepernick tweeted his support for Hill.
He wrote, “We are with you @jemelehill,” followed by a black power emoji.
Kaepernick is currently a NFL free agent after he was blackballed by NFL teams for taking a knee during the pre-game national anthem last season to protest police brutality.

Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.
