Bitter comedian and actress Mo’Nique is still on the warpath after asking her social media followers to boycott Netflix for offering her $500,000 to perform her standup comedy routine in a TV special.
Mo’Nique accused the online streaming giant of gender and race discrimination. She argued that other comics such as Chris Tucker and Amy Schumer were offered millions for their Netflix specials.
Now Mo’Nique is coming for TV Guru Oprah Winfrey, whom she has blamed in the past for having her blacklisted in the industry.
During Mo’Nique and Sidney’s relationship show on Wednesday, the 50-year-old ‘Precious’ star wondered aloud whether Oprah is really down for black women.
“The black women are saying yeah yeah yeah but let me ask y’all a question. when does she ever rally behind us? What award show does she get up on the stage and say hashtag MeToo?”
Mo also thanked fellow Baltimore native Jada Pinkett-Smith for publicly supporting her in her fight for equal pay.
In the past, Mo’Nique has accused Oprah, Tyler Perry and Lee Daniels of badmouthing her to movie studios and ruining her career.
