Tamar Braxton bagged her first acting role after years of toiling under the hot lights on reality TV sets. The 40-year-old Maryland native announced her new movie gig on her Instagram.com account on Monday.
She captioned an image of herself wearing a waitress uniform: “I’m so happy, honored and BLESSED to be shooting my very FIRST movie! Omg I’m having a BLAST.”
The mother-of-one didn’t provide any details about the movie or her role. She is following in the footsteps of her older sister Toni Braxton who stars in a Lifetime TV movie as a real-life single mother from Georgia who stopped a teenage gunman from shooting up an elementary school.
