The first reviews for Solo: A Star Wars Story are in. The Star Wars spinoff premiered in Hollywood and Thursday, and the public reviews have been mixed.

Solo: A Star Wars is an intergalactic heist movie starring ruggedly handsome actor Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo and musician-of-the-moment Donald Glover stars as Lando, the role made famous by actor Billy Dee Williams.

The Ron Howard movie also stars Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca.

The official reviews won’t be out until May 15, but the fact that the movie studio allowed the public to review it first is a good sign.

“It does take a bit to get used to Alden as Han, but after 30 minutes or so your brain adjusts,” tweets one user.

Another Twitter user wrote: “It takes a bit for it to find its feet and for AE to turn on enough charm to make you forget he’s not HF. But once it kicks into its hey-let’s-make-a-crew and yes-also-do-a-heist stuff, it totally flies.”

And @FutureBoy tweeted: “This is the grungiest, most grunt-level blue collar #StarWars ever and I am here for it. #Solo”.

Solo: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters on May 25.
