Eagle-eyed concertgoers spotted the former first couple, Michelle and Barack Obama, dancing in the luxury box during Beyonce and JAY-Z’s On The Run II Tour at FedExField Stadium in Washington, D.C. over the weekend.
Instagram user @aayy.bee was ecstatic to see Barack and Michelle shaking their butts right behind her. “The Obamas were at the OTRII Tour and they were right behind us. I danced near Obama! What. #Obama #otr2 #jayzandbeyonce”.
The Obamas danced to Beyonce and JAY’s latest single “Apesh-t” as well as JAY’s collabo with Kanye West, “Niggas In Paris”.
After performing to half empty stadiums during the European leg of their world tour, Bey and JAY kicked off their North American tour in Cleveland, Ohio on July 25.
Only a handful of OTR II concert venues are sold out in North America, including their August 25 show at Atlanta’s brand new Mercedes Benz Stadium. A second show was added in Atlanta on August 26.
The Obamas hope to improve the Democrats’ chances during the upcoming midterm elections by setting up voter registration booths at every stop on the OTR II tour in America.
The Democrats hope to reclaim the House in November so they can increase taxes and lower the unemployment rate for Black people by preventing ICE agents from deporting illegal aliens who take jobs from Black people and people of color.
