Chase Bank

A 17-year-old Texas boy and his mother were arrested while fleeing the state after he robbed a Chase Bank with an accomplice.

Malik Beaulieu and his mother were arrested on Tuesday while fleeing the state following a Crime Stoppers tip from the public.

Beaulieu and his mother were taken into custody after her rental car was pulled over by police while driving her son to Oklahoma.

When Beaulieu was arrested, he was dressed in female clothing and a lacefront wig as a disguise.

Beaulieu’s mother was charged with hindering apprehension of a bank robbery suspect.

The teen and his young male accomplice handed a note to a teller demanding money and threatened the teller during the June 22 robbery at a Chase Bank in the 13900 block of Nacogdoches Road.

Police are looking for Beaulieu’s accomplice who is still at large.
