Kanye West

Kanye West ignored late night host Jimmy Kimmel who asked him about his friend President Donald Trump. Kanye made his first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! since he went on a Twitter rant about Kimmel in 2013.

Kanye agreed to appear on Kimmel’s show after the two men settled their beef that started in 2013 when Kimmel taunted the Grammy-winning music producer for declaring he was the No. 1 rock star on the planet.

During his August 9 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Kanye remained silent as the anti-Trump talk show host criticized the president for separating families at the border.

“There are families being torn apart at the border of this country. Whether we like his personality or not, his actions are what matter,” Kimmel told Kanye. “You so famously, and so powerfully said, ‘George Bush doesn’t care about black people.’ What makes you think that Donald Trump does — or any people at all?”

But Kanye refused to be tricked into speaking negative about the president, who is credited with the lowest Black unemployment rate in history.

Kanye’s silence was deafening, as Kimmel cut to a commercial. “Why don’t we take a break,” Kimmel said as Kanye smiled.
