The rivalry between rappers Nicki Minaj, left, and Cardi B took a dangerous turn when the 25-year-old Bronx rapper threw a shoe at the Barbie’s head on Friday night at the Harper’s Bazaar ICON’s party during NY Fashion Week event in NYC.
Cardi and Nicki bumped into each other at the party and, after exchanging words, Cardi kicked off her heels and threw one of her pumps at Nicki’s head.
That’s when security tackled Cardi and she was escorted from the party. There was a visible bump on her forehead.
As rumors swirled all over social media, Cardi took to Instagram to explain her side of the story. Apparently, Nicki triggered the first-time mom when she insulted Cardi’s skills as a mother to infant daughter Kulture Cephus.
“I’ve let a lot of sh-t slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me. But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f—in off!! I’ve worked hard and come too far to let anybody f–k with my success!!!! B-tches talk about all that sh-t in they raps but in real life are p—y!!”
