A stadium worker who was filmed spitting on pizza at a Detroit Tigers baseball game has been arrested and charged with a felony food law violation.
Police arrested Jaylon Kerley on Sunday and charged him with felony and misdemeanor food safety violations. The felony charge is punishable by a maximum of four years in prison.
The video was filmed by another food service worker who uploaded the gross video to Instagram.com over the weekend. The video has since been removed from Instagram.
Kerley was fired on Sunday after he was identified as the stadium worker seen spitting on a pizza on Friday.
Kerley’s bond was set at $100,000. He will be tested for infectious diseases. The pizza was ordered by an unknown Detroit Tigers attendee.
