They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but LeBron James would beg to differ. The L.A. Lakers star called out fashion house Alexander McQueen for jacking Nike’s iconic Air Max 1s (pictured top).
LeBron retweeted MoreSneaker.com’s post featuring images of Alexander McQueen’s new line of sneakers.
“So Are you saying That’s not @Nike Air Max 1??… Well alrighty then,” LeBron tweeted.
His post was retweeted thousands of times, with many of LeBron’s followers agreeing that the designer sneakers do look vaguely familiar.
