Rev. Run’s daughter Angela Simmons is the latest celebrity to join Team Natural! Angela, who is known to spend a house note on hair extensions every month, debuted her natural hair on her Instagram page on Thursday.
Angela showed off a healthy head full of curls in a video uploaded to her page.
She captioned the video: “Natural hair out brought to you by @curls .. lol what do you guys think ? Playing with different hairstyles with my natural hair .. attempted to style my own hair .. lol.”
Many women of color forego styling their own hair because, A. they don’t know how to maintain their own hair, or B. they’re lazy.
Angela falls in category A. She expressed a willingness to learn how to maintain her healthy tresses by investing in a line of organic natural hair products.
