CArdi B, Offset

Rapper Offset’s dramatic appearance onstage during Cardi B’s set at Power 106’s Rolling Loud Music Festival was a publicity stunt, according to festival organizers.

Fans accused the estranged couple of pulling a PR stunt when Offset walked out onstage during Cardi B’s performance to beg her to take him back.

It all seemed staged, particularly after the crew rolled out flower arrangements that spelled “TAKE ME BACK CARDI” in red and white roses. Fans said Cardi must have seen the flower arrangements backstage.

Cardi announced the couple’s separation in an emotionless video on Instagram 2 weeks ago. But fans doubted her sincerity right from the start.

Before posting a desperate video on Instagram begging Cardi to take him back on Friday, Offset walked out onstage during Cardi’s Rolling Loud concert and presented her with a bucket of white roses.

“I just wanna tell you I’m sorry, bruh. In person, in front of the world. I luh you,” Offset told Cardi, who pretended to be angry at his intrusion during her set. But it was all a stunt.

Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cheriff told the Los Angeles Times that Cardi B’s management arranged the stunt without the full knowledge of Rolling Loud promoters.

“We were told she was going to have a guest star during her set, that it was going to be Migos [Offset’s rap group], but we didn’t know anything about that stunt,” Cheriff said.

“We’re getting blamed as if we conspired to do this, and I just want to make it clear that we did not. Cardi’s management was in on it, it had nothing to do with the festival. The artist is in full control of the stage,” he added.

Cheriff also issued a statement denying involvement with the stunt via Rolling Loud’s official Twitter account.
