Cardi B

Cardi B responded to social media users who say she didn’t deserve to win a Grammy after just 1 album.

On Sunday, the Bronx native won a Grammy for best rap album, thus becoming the first female rapper to win in the male-dominated category.

In a profanity-laced video, the 26-year-old rapper lashed out at anyone who thinks she didn’t deserve to win a Grammy.

She also wrote a lengthy caption to a tweet from Chance the Rapper congratulating her on her accomplishment.

Hopefully Cardi doesn’t read Sandrarose.com. Our demographic skews older than her average fanbase, and we know what real music is when we hear it.

We don’t believe Cardi deserved to win a Grammy over established artists who put in much longer hours in the studio. We will continue to support naturally gifted singers who don’t rely on autotunes and other studio trickery to sound halfway decent.
