As many of you predicted, rapper Cardi B returned to Instagram to tease a new song she recorded with pop singer Bruno Mars.
The 26-year-old Bronx rapper deactivated her account on Monday after receiving backlash for winning her first Grammy in the male-dominated Best Rap Album category.
Many of her critics thought the prize should have gone to the late Mac Miller, who died of a drug overdose in 2018.
Before deleting her Instagram, the rapper, who was born Belcalis Almanzar, posted an expletive-filled video defending her Grammy win.
“I f–king worked my a– off, locked myself in the studio for 3 months, didn’t go to sleep in my own bed, sometimes for 4 days straight – pregnant!” she said, before deactivating her Instagram account.
Cardi made her return to Instagram on Wednesday night, telling fans she’s got a new song coming out with fellow culture vulture, Bruno.
“Ok so I’m back from retirement to announce I have a brand new song coming out Friday at midnight with @brunomars. #twogrammywinningartist,” Cardi wrote, alongside a single cover art of herself and Bruno.
The superstars previously teamed up on a 2018 remix of Bruno’s track “Finesse”.
Cardi also posted a complaint about alleged abuse by C.O.’s against one of her homies incarcerated in the Greene Correctional facility in upstate New York.
“remember when I went to visit some one in Green and I couldn’t stop crying cause the C.O beat they face up so bad boy had a black eye for months !! And the shit is ya been doing it FOR YEARS AND BEEN GETTING AWAY WITH IT FOR FUCKIN YEARS !!!!”
Cardi then shared the video for her husband Offset’s solo debut “Red Room”, captioning the video: “RED ROOM OUT NOW! Love the video and the creativity @offsetyrn. I cant wait till the album out is such a beautiful piece and I’m soo proud of you ! I always told you your life is such a wild story.”
