Black History Month

February 1, 2019 kicks off the national celebration of Black History Month in America. Black History Month is a monthlong holiday honoring Black Americans who excel and achieve in business, politics, literature, medicine, science and the arts.

Black History Month offers the opportunity for Americans to learn our history and the contributions and achievements of Black people that changed America and the world.
