The Staples Center in Los Angeles released details of slain rapper Nipsey Hussle’s star-studded “Celebration of Life” confirmed for Thursday, April 11.
Hussle, 33, was fatally shot outside his clothing store in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 31.
A flyer announcing the time and date of the memorial service was posted on Hussle’s Instagram page on Monday. The flyer shows an artist’s rendition of the “Double Up” rapper depicted as an Angel with large wings and wearing a white outfit.
The caption reads: “Join Us for the Celebration of the Life & Legacy of Nipsey Hussle.”
The memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. sharp on Thursday and end at 12 noon. Doors will open at 8 a.m. Free tickets are limited to four per household and restricted to California residents only.
Tickets will be available on Axs.com beginning on Tuesday morning, April 9, at 10 a.m. local time.
Cameras and video equipment are banned during the service.
“Out of respect to the family, cameras and recording devices will not be permitted inside the venue. You may be asked to leave the event if you are found recording or taking photos.”
Security will be tight and all guests will be subject to a metal detector screening and visual inspection of all bags by Staples security and members of the LAPD. Mourners are asked not to bring any backpacks of any size, or bags larger than 14″ x 14″ x 6″.
