Nipsey Hussle’s fans are crying foul after tickets to his “Celebration of Life” memorial service were gone within minutes of becoming available on a website Tuesday morning.
Fans took to social media to express their disappointment after tickets for the Nipsey Hussle memorial went live, then were gone after only minutes.
The Staples Center had announced a limited amount of free tickets (only 4 per household) would be available for “Nipsey Hussle’s Celebration of Life,” to be held on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
California residents were assured they would get tickets as long as they reserved their tickets on Axs.com early Tuesday morning.
But early bird fans who logged into the website on Tuesday were greeted by a notification that the tickets were already gone, The Blast reports.
According to TMZ, fans who weren’t able to reserve tickets will still have a chance to see Nipsey’s funeral procession, commencing after the memorial service. The funeral procession will travel about 25 miles and stop at neighborhood landmarks as it snakes through South L.A. immediately after the memorial service.
The family reportedly wanted to make sure those who aren’t able to get into the 21,000 seat arena can still pay their last respects.
