Reggie Bush’s wife Lilit Avagyan disputes Karen Civil’s claims that Reggie tried to exploit deceased rapper Nipsey Hussle by creating an unauthorized GoFundMe account for Nipsey’s children.
Lilit insists Nipsey’s life partner, Lauren London, authorized him to create a GoFundMe account to raise $100,000 for Nipsey’s 2 children Emani, 12, and Kross, 2.
Lilit took to social media to clear her husband’s name. She said Lauren authorized the launch of the GoFundMe page that has since been deleted. Lauren is the mother of Nipsey’s son, Kross.
“sweet heart everything is down and removed. And was planned with his families blessing. No one knew that people would be so negative and bashful about something positive. [Lauren] changed her mind and we respected her wishes. I understand your concern but weather [sic] you think we are good people or not is irrelevant. Have a blessed day.”
Nipsey, 33, was gunned down outside his clothing store on March 31. He was buried on Friday during a private ceremony at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in South Los Angeles.
