Nipsey Hussle’s baby mama is a heavy drinker, according to a judge who ordered her to begin attending Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
Tanisha Foster, the mother of Nipsey’s 10-year-old daughter Emani, appeared in court Thursday on a bench warrant for skipping a DUI hearing on May 15.
According to The Blast the judge revoked Tanisha’s 2017 probation for blowing off her DUI classes. She faces jail time for violating the terms of her probation. But the kindhearted judge was lenient with the repeat offender.
The judge ordered her to re-enroll in her DUI class and complete the required terms of her probation, as well as sign up for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Tanisha is also ordered to attend AA meetings, and a probation violating hearing has been set for July. If Tanisha’s probation is officially revoked, she could be remanded into custody, which could also severely impact her battle against Nipsey’s family to get custody of her daughter.
Earlier this week a judge granted custody of Nipsey and Tanisha’s minor daughter to his sister Samantha Smith, who earlier filed a petition to become the child’s legal guardian.
But the courts typically favor the mother in child custody cases – unless the mother is a hopeless case. The court may deem her an unfit mother and terminate her parental rights for good.
Hopefully Tanisha will get her life together so she can get her daughter back.
Tanisha also has two teenagers from previous relationships.
