Singer Trey Songz recently welcomed his first child, a son named Noah. The R&B crooner confirmed the rumors by posting an image of his adorable bundle of joy on Instagram Thursday night.
It all started when Instagram gossip Blogger Fee (@Gossipinthecity) posted photos of a man holding an adorable baby on Thursday. She captioned the image, “I can confirm @treysongz is a father!”
But she quickly snatched the post down and took her page private, leading to speculation that she prematurely jumped the gun.
Many speculated that Trey was trolling his female followers by posting an image of his nephew or singer Kehlani’s infant.
Others insisted Trey couldn’t be a father because of the longstanding ghey rumors.
Then Trey shut down the rampant speculation by confirming he is a father.
He captioned the image: “My son Noah. We are blessed and overjoyed. Peace”.
He didn’t identify the baby’s mother, but there was a rumor last year that adult film star Brittney Jones was carrying his seed.
It isn’t clear if the baby was born via surrogate or was naturally conceived by the R&B crooner.
The singer, born Tremaine Aldon Neverson, released his debut album I Gotta Make It in 2005.
Like rapper Common, the 34-year-old Sagittarius has never been able to maintain a stable longterm relationship with a woman.
His absentee father, Claude Neverson Jr., may hold the key to Trey’s failed history with women. Neverson Jr. abandoned his family when Trey was a toddler.
According to Whosdatedwho.com, he has been linked to nearly 2 dozen women, including:
Lori Harvey (2018 – 2019), Tanaya (2015), Mila J (2014), Bernice Burgos (2013 – 2014), Tabby Brown (2012 – 2013), Iesha Marie (2012 – 2014), Simply Jess (2010 – 2011), Ciara (2010), Sheneka Adams (2010 – 2011), Tahiry Jose (2009), Keri Hilson (2009 – 2010), Lauren London (2009 – 2013), Drew Sidora (2009), Necole Bitchie (2009), Claudia Jordan (2009) and Helen Gedlu (2007 – 2008), Khloé Kardashian (2016) and Brittany Renner (2014).
