Ciara Wilson officially graduated from Harvard University Business School after attending classes for only 3 days.
Over the weekend, Ciara posted publicity photos that show her hitting the books in the school library and walking the hallowed halls of the historic Ivy League college in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Ciara, 33, posted photos that showed her “studying” in the college’s library, and wearing a school sweater and a placard identifying her as a Harvard business student.
She captioned the images, “My College Dream Has Come True and I’ll cherish this moment forever! What a surreal feeling walking to class everyday, interacting with my classmates, diving into case studies, exploring @Harvard campus and Cambridge! Never stop dreaming. Never stop believing! @HarvardHBS #HBS #BEMS”.
On May 20, the part-time singer and Seattle homemaker took to Instagram.com to announce she was accepted into Harvard Business School.
“I always dreamt of going to college, but by God’s grace, my music career took me on a path that I’m so thankful for,” the mother-of-2 wrote. “This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement!”
Her fans were happy for her. Many congratulated her for pursuing a higher education. But the compliments turned to anger at the “Goodies” singer when fans learned the course only lasts 3 days.
For a few thousand dollars, Ciara can now call herself a Harvard graduate and alumni of the storied school.
Others are not so lucky. Straight A students from around the country have had their applications rejected because they’re not married to a superstar NFL quarterback and they don’t have the right contacts at the school.
CiCi’s new IG post drew praise and a few bitter comments, but one optimistic Instagram follower wrote, “You were there, girl. Congrats!”
