Teyana Taylor released her new single and accompanying music video “HYWI? (How You Want It?)”, featuring Sean Combs’ son, Christian Combs, who goes by the stage name King Combs, 21.
Teyana, 28, also directed the video for “HYWI?”, which features remakes of Madonna’s peep show scenes from “Open Your Heart” (1986) and Combs and MA$E’s hit “Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down”.
The music video begins with Teyana sitting in a private booth and lusting after herself dancing on the pole and gyrating to the hip-hop beat, which samples Total’s “Tell Me”.
The single is off Teyana’s 3rd album – her first release since the EP K.T.S.E. produced by Kanye West.
Unlike K.T.S.E., which was delayed multiple times, Teyana will produce most of the 3rd album, scheduled for a late 2019 release.
“Not a might, it’s definitely gonna come out this year,” she said during an interview on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show in February. “I’m gonna do whatever I have to do to make sure it get out.”
