Jennifer Lopez wowed the audience at the Versace runway fashion show in Milan by recreating her stunning Versace palm leaf dress from the 2000 Grammy Awards.
Lopez, 50, earned a standing ovation as she strut her stuff in the iconic plunging Versace cutout palm leaf dress with matching cape during Milan Fashion Week.
J-Lo walked the runway for Versace’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection presentation.
In a video posted to YouTube, Lopez recalled the frenzy that surrounded her Grammy appearance.
“All of a sudden you start hearing a little murmur. I’m thinking, it’s the Grammys. It has to be somebody famous behind us. It was a frenzy. The flashes started going in a way that it’s not usually. There was an extra kinetic energy there. I was like what the hell is going on? I had no idea it was about this dress.”
J-Lo was a fresh faced 31 year old singer dating rap mogul Sean Combs when she wore what some are calling the most memorable dress in Grammy history.
J-Lo’s fans took to social media to rave about the dress and to praise the 50-year-old for maintaining her incredible shape. They say she looks better now than she did 19 years ago when she was Puffy Daddy’s muse.
