Pastor Jamal H. Bryant is apparently dating his long-suffering ex-wife Gizelle Bryant, the mother of his three children. Pastor Bryant invited Kanye West to bring his traveling “Sunday Service” gospel revue to Atlanta’s New Birth Missionary Church this weekend.
The pastor also invited his ex-wife, Real Housewives of Potomac reality TV star Gizelle Bryant to love up on him while all eyes in the congregation were on Kanye.
According to Page Six, the Bryants are “working on their relationship.”
Gizelle, 49, and Jamal, 48, were married from 2002 to 2007, and share daughter, Grace, 14, and twins Adore and Angel, 13.
And since the children are still minors, they need both of their parents in the same household to act as an example so their children know what Love looks like.
During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Gizelle told host Andy Cohen that her daughters are trying to adjust to seeing their parents “date” again.
“They’re a little confused to be honest with you because they’ve never seen us together in that way,” she said. “We got divorced 12 years ago, so when he comes into town and he wants to take me to dinner, they’re like, ‘Wait a minute, aren’t we all going? Because that’s what we would normally do.”
If everything works out with her ex, Gizelle will consider moving to Atlanta to assume her rightful place as First Lady of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
Why should that prestigious title be bestowed upon some other chick when Gizelle put in work raising his children all these years?
“So you’re going to be a First Lady again?” co-star Monique Samuels asked Gizelle.
“Imma be whatever the Lord brings into my life,” Gizelle responded. “I look back and I just feel like nobody is what their mistakes are. I feel he’s a different person. I’m a different person, so we’re baby-stepping, but we are moving in the direction that we want to move into. And I do love when we are all together as a family.”
