Good news, Xscape fans: your favorite girl group will stay together to record one final album. The news comes just days after Tameka “Tiny” Harris announced she was departing the group to go solo.
Kandi Burruss’ mom, Mama Joyce shared the news with her followers on Instagram.com.
“They still have one album left. The four of them, they started in my basement and I feel that they still have another album in them.”
Kandi said she was caught off guard by her mother’s announcement.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star said:
“Obviously she put us on the spot but, I mean. I guess we gon’ grant her her wish. I didn’t know what to say but at the same time, she put it out there, my group members are here. We gon’ make it happen. We gon’ figure it out.”
Tameka added, “Yeah, when everybody schedule get together we gon’ get in that studio.”
Tameka is booked to perform solo at nightclubs and lounges around Atlanta. She shocked fans by saying she was going solo after 26 years with the Atlanta based group.
