Candace Owens lashed out at Meghan Markle for using her trip to Africa as the worst time to complain about the British press abusing her.
Owens was livid that Meghan went all the way to Africa to complain about her “over-privileged life”.
The American-born royal broke down in an emotional interview with Britain’s ITV Network during her and Prince Harry’s recent journey to Africa. She discussed the brutal treatment she’s received from the British tabloids.
Meghan said her friends warned her not to marry Harry because the British press would ruin her life.
“In all fairness, I had no idea, which probably sounds difficult to understand, but when I first met Harry, my friends were so excited, my U.S. friends were happy because I was happy,” Meghan said.
“My British friends, they were sure he was lovely, but they said I shouldn’t do it because ‘the British tabloids will destroy your life’. Because I’m American I very naively didn’t get it. It’s complicated.”
But Candace Owens was unsympathetic toward Meghan. She took to social media to lash out at the 38-year-old first-time-mom.
“Using African children as a backdrop to complain about your over-privileged life is offensive,” she tweeted.
She also directed her anger at Prince Harry, 35.
“Invoking your own mother’s tragic death to demand the press stop calling out your hypocritical wife is downright disgusting.
Meghan Markle is a witch.
Harry is under your spell.”
