Jay-Z, 50, seemed to avoid Kanye for most of the night, but the aging rapper finally acknowledged his former producer when Kanye extended his hand to end their bitter feud.

Kanye and Jay-Z’s 3-year feud was behind Kanye’s infamous rant during a concert in 2017 when the 42-year-old rapper pleaded with Jay-Z to call him and begged him not to send his goons to kill him.
Soon after the rant, Kanye had a nervous breakdown and was admitted to a hospital mental ward.
A year later, Jay-Z told Rap Radar that Kanye’s rant hurt him because he brought his wife Beyonce into their feud. He also said he loved Kanye and he reached out to him.
“It’s a complicated relationship with us because Kanye came into this business on my label,” Jay said.
“And we’re both entertainers. It’s always been like a little underlying competition here with your big brother. And we both love and respect each other’s art too, so it’s like, we both – everyone wants to be the greatest in the world. Then it’s like a lot of other factors that play in it. But it’s – we’re gonna always be good.”
When asked if there was still tension between him and Kanye, Jay said, “Yeah, yeah. But that happens in the long relationship. You know, hopefully when we’re 89, we look at this six months or whatever time and we laugh at that.”
Puffy’s good friend Usher Raymond, 41, cozied up to his new girlfriend Jennifer Goicoechea, a 41-year-old music executive. Usher has a type. His new girlfriend closely resembles his ex-wife Grace Miguel, who is a former music executive. On a positive note, Usher seems to have outgrown his mommy issues. He previously dated women who were at least a decade older.
